Most smokers light their cigarettes when not thinking about the risks of smoking and the effects of their habit on their health. They know that smoking does not kill them, or the next. The effects of smoking gradually accumulated. Of course, the smoker can always quit, right? But overall this is an unspecified date in the future, provided that it is now. The addict can make a thousand excuses why they can not back out. Keep nicotine is tough and not wait to let go easily. The smoker is in denial.
